Huntington, one of the region’s largest financial institutions, will be the Presenting Sponsor of the Motor City Car Crawl and Charity Gala in Downtown Detroit.
The Motor City Car Crawl Presented by Huntington is produced by the Detroit Auto Dealers Association (DADA) and the Downtown Detroit Partnership (DDP) and is a free, outdoor, walkable event that will kick off at noon, Thursday, Aug. 5 and last through Sunday, Aug. 8.
“We are thrilled to be a part of this worthwhile and significant event that will help so many children in our area,” said Sandy Pierce, Huntington’s chairwoman of Michigan. “We are honored to partner with the Detroit Auto Dealers Association and Detroit Downtown Partnership in this special celebration that will encourage people to visit Detroit’s exceptional restaurants, bars and retail businesses.”
The Motor City Car Crawl Presented by Huntington will feature vehicles in six downtown parks, alongside musical entertainment, food trucks, beverage offerings and family-friendly activities. The six parks include, Campus Martius Park, Capitol Park, Grand Circus Park, Beacon Park, Cadillac Square and the Spirit of Detroit Plaza. This is a free event, available to the public.
In addition to the free public days, the Motor City Car Crawl Presented by Huntington will also feature a Charity Gala on Saturday, Aug. 7. This ticketed event will benefit nine Detroit-area children’s charities and feature a performance by nine-time Grammy Award winner, Sheryl Crow.
