The Powering Michigan team of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) and The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW Local 58) are proud to present the “Powering Michigan EV Experience and EV Learning Center” at the 2025 Detroit Auto Show.

SMCNECA electrical contractors and the highly skilled electricians of IBEW Local 58 are installation experts for all types of EV Charging infrastructure in the commercial, public, fleet and residential markets including solar and energy storage integration.  The Powering Michigan team has been trained and certified through the nationally recognized EVITP (Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Training Program) and are actively installing charging stations all over Michigan.   

The Powering Michigan EV Learning Center showcases a variety of EV charging applications and information on everything you need to know about charging your new electric vehicle at home and in public spaces.
